What surface is required for the jumping castle.
Jumping castles can be set-up on grass, or any hard flat surface. Castles set-up on grass will have pegs to secure the castle. Castles set-up of other hard surfaces may require weights to secure the castle. Please advise our staff when booking the castle what the surface areas is. If however your grass area has irrigation lines running underground we can also use weights to secure in these instances.
What power is required for jumping castles.
A standard domestic 240v 10amp power outlet is required for the blower to operate. We will provide either a 25m or 50m extension chord at no cost. For distances greater than 50m from power a petrol generator is required. You are not permitted to "daisy-chain" extension chords. We will also secure the extension chord and mark with "whitches hat" to avoid a trip hazard if required.
Can I have a castle is a public place such as a park.
Yes, however you will need to obtain permission from the park owner, usually local council. When seeking approval you must also ask what public liability requirements the council require so that we can ensure our insurances are sufficient. Additionally there may not be power available however we are able to provide a generator at additional cost if required. We will ask you for confirmation in writing that you have permission from the park owner at the time of booking.
Do you have insurance
Yes, we have $10 million public liability cover with Loyds of London. A copy of the policy is available on request.
